Kim Segal spent 15+ years in corporate technology before feeling the pull to go deeper. She didn't take a weekend course — she went to the world.
She studied Hatha yoga and Ayurvedic medicine at an ashram in India. Sat with Buddhist teachers in Japan. Learned the sacred art of cacao ceremony in Guatemala. Completed a year-long yoga teacher training at one of the top-ranked schools in the world.
Every experience was studied with one purpose: to bring the very best possible support to the people she works with.
Today Kim brings the precision of a corporate leader and the depth of a globally trained healing practitioner to every coaching relationship.
Burnout is minimized, pushed through, treated like a scheduling problem. But what's happening is far deeper — your nervous system has been running on overdrive for months, maybe years. That requires a different kind of support.
Reframing the conversation
Kim didn't study healing in a classroom. She traveled across continents, sat with ancient traditions, and immersed herself in cultures and modalities that most people never encounter. Here's where the journey took her.
Studied at an ashram under a lineage tracing back hundreds of years. Completed 100-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and deepened her understanding of Ayurvedic healing — the ancient Indian science of life, balance, and the body's innate wisdom.
Traveled to Japan to study Buddhist teachings — exploring the philosophy of impermanence, mindfulness, and the art of being fully present. These principles now form a cornerstone of her coaching approach and her understanding of inner peace.
Traveled to Guatemala to study the sacred traditions of cacao ceremony — one of the oldest heart-opening practices in the world, rooted in Mayan culture. An exploration of ritual, community, and the healing power of presence and intention.
Completed a year-long intensive 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at the Soul of Yoga in Encinitas — ranked among the top yoga schools in the world. An immersive, rigorous program that transformed her understanding of the body, breath, and the deeper dimensions of yoga practice.
